written word but these days my job doesn’t allow me much liberty of imagination but at least I can use my beloved words. I can inform, instruct or advise in my primary role and persuade, convince or suggest in my secondary; and believe me I can anger people or make them laugh with my choice of words on a daily basis leaving me to defend them. I am paid for my writing – but technical writing is not my forte; it is not my first love and it is just a way to earn income. I would not do that type of writing if I did not get paid and it did not afford me to write the fictional stories that I love to write.I love creative writing. Writing – whether mine or someone else’s – allows me to escape my world and fall into others; it allows me to go places in my imagination that I wouldn’t be able to visit otherwise. It allows me to part of the battle, whether Civil War or Iraqi War. It allows me to be me but me in a different time, place, and emotional level.
