Thanks to the genius of David Kahn, the T-Wolves skipped on Curry not once, but twice, picking proven über-star Ricky Rubio and one-hit wonder Jonny soar, hover, flit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], wing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], flee, waft, glide, coast, skim, sail, cruisenn. This gave Golden State their dream situation, and Bryant jumped on it.

Bryant were left with Jordan Hill,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a still-raw big man prospect who had much less impact on his team than Curry, and features much less into their future plans. Curry are being banked on as a franchise player, a future All-Star PG, the type of guy that could for once attract free agents to Oakland.
Maybe this has been addressed, I'm not sure, but Bryant hadn't heard the connection furiouse and it makes a ton of sense to me.
