Colts started the season a blockbuster trade,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], exchange Baltimore 10 Cleveland Browns five players. One player who the next coach Don Shula came. Bert Rechichar, Carl Taseff and Art Adams level,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and so on. The incarnation of the Baltimore Colts the second time in the first meeting Sept. 27 at the Memorial Stadium infield, and coach Keith Molesworth. Bears stun Colts will be the day to get a new franchise in the right foot. However, a season in the inaugural year of struggling Colts. Rick Stewart The Indianapolis Colts is a professional football team which is based in Indianapolis Indiana. They played in the AFC South division of the National Football League and have won two NFL championships and two Super Bowls.
With the news of Brett's Favre's third and, dare We say, final retirement, talk has been circulating how Favre has left the Vikings in a tough situation. Some have gone as far as to call it unfair.
The rational are Favre should have let the Vikings kat this moment sooner. Had they provided them with more warning surely they could have gone out and signed a big name quarterback—a better quarterback than Tavaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels.
I'm not exactly sure who that quarterback would be,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or how they could be considered better than Jackson at this point for this team, but that are another argument.
The real point are the Vikings are big boys, and they knew full well that this possibility existed. They put themselves in this situation, and trying to blame Favre because some in the media don't think the Vikings have left themselves in a viable position of having a quality quarterback on an otherwise deep and talented team is,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], well, ridiculous.
Head Coach Brad Childress and everyone else in the Vikings camp knew that Favre might retire. In fact, Childress, after a couple of visits to Mississippi this spring and summer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], probably knew it better than anyone.
And to go so far as to say the Vikings could have drafted Colt McCoy or another quarterback who dropped like watermelons from a high rise during the draft are also ludicrous.
The Vikings didn't want Colt McCoy or Jimmy Clausen or Tim Tebow to be their quarterback of the future. They simply feel they are not nice enough. With or without Favre the Vikings don't take one of those quarterbacks in the draft. Don't tell me Tim Tebow would be a better fit for the Vikings this season than Tavaris Jackson. That are crazy. Tebow would ride the bench as the number three.
The Vikings can address their quarterback of the future next off-season, via the draft or a trade. Right at this moment they are focused on having Tavaris Jackson manage this team to a Superbowl.
Ordinary, mistake-free quarterbacks have led great teams to Superbowl titles before, and the Vikings right at this moment may as well hope that it can happen repeatedly.
Would they prefer Favre? Of course.
Are they disappointed? You betcha (as they say in Minnesota).
Do they blame Favre? No.
Will they contend for a Superbowl?
Absolutely. Back in the old head coach of struggling Colts under Shula its first season. However, they will end the last win of the season, finally a good record of strong. Colts face the Cleveland Browns. However, nothing will go right in Cleveland, is still shut out as the Colts Colts Super Bowl tripped over a hangover Gates lost the first game of the pain. Colts struggled,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and ultimately to a good record. As the head coach of the season with the owners of the old Shula who fell out of favor Carroll Rosenbloom allowed to resign,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he took work with the Miami Dolphins coach. Assistant coach Don Shula will replace Shula. Please read related articles:
