When your emotion lively you can take a nice walk on the Taff Trail, situated just up the road from the Riverhouse Backpackers hostel all the way to Mermaid Key. There you'll find a 'shrine' to Ianto Jones,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who was a fictional role from Torch Wood (a Dr Who Spin-off). You also see the Roald Dahl Plass, a childrens science centre shrieked Techniques, loads of canteens and bars, speed canoe rides, a Norwegian cathedral and wetlands. All very nice but nobody special. By the period you've done all namely you'll probably be also weary to walk back so jump on the Ferry which leaves from under the bridge. It merely costs 3 quid and the navigate gives you a bit of message on the way.
Hop on a National Express Bus from Bristol. It takes approximately 3-4 hours to reach Cardiff and costs under 20 quid. Once there its a short walk to the Riverhouse Backpackers hotel. This is a very nice hostel with friendly staff and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], though uncooked, an surprising free breakfast. A certain must see is the Cardiff Castle. Most of its history, as well as Cardiff's, is circled along the Bute's' household. Pick up an audio guide (comprised in the entry fare) and take a leisurely stroll around. Behind it is Bute's Park which is another large place for a promenade. One a remove daytime when seeing from the fortress inside the castle grounds,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you can see another castle also owned along the Bute's. This is more of the fairy tale type castle and is a few hours walk forward the Taffs Trail.
All in always, Cardiff is quite quaint town. It can be a tiny rough when the rugby namely above yet the drunken fans aren't approximately as wrong for those football (soccer) hooligans. It is definitely worth a visit.

It seems in every place in the UK there is a Walkabout pub because the homesick aussies. You can catch a chaste pizza by Revolution situated just along from the Cardiff Castle and try out Cafe Jazz because a very well priced Sunday roast (on Sunday of course) with free wifi and very friendly staff.
A 10 minute hike and you are in the center of town. Very reminiscent of many smaller English shires, in town you'll find a good scope of shopping malls (Queens St), arcades and the chief market. When starve strikes, try some of the traditional edibles. Crawl is a savory and hearty soup made with lamb. Faggots,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], chips and peas is another regional favourite (faggots are favor meatballs made from liver.) If you're fortunate ample to be around anywhere near xmas then the main streets will be fraught with Christmas lights and mulled brandy, peppery chocolate with baileys, hot dogs with salamis from around the world, nutella pancakes and many more treats will be on attempt.
Of course, Cardiff also has all the main entities every city has such as a city auditorium, the national gallery (free), a winter wonderland (in the winter of way) including a Ferris cycle and ice skating,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a library, which incidentally, is closed on Sundays. One extra location to check out is Hayes street. There,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], among additional shops, you will ascertain Spiller Records, which was the 1st disc shop in the globe. It has been there since 1894. It is surprisingly small.
