[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]: [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] held under 200 yards in first start
Making his first career start, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] completed 16-of-33 passes for 188 yards and one interception against the Bengals in Week 3.
The numbers don't do justice to [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]'s ugly performance. His first-half passer rating was exactly 0.0, and the majority of his yards came in garbage time. [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] showed no touch, winding up on every pass attempt,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and habitually looking for the horizontal check-down as opposed to the vertical strike. Part of it can be attributed to first-start nerves and an overly conservative game-plan, but [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] certainly didn't look ready to start at the NFL level. In the latest series of events, New England has shipped away running back Laurence Maroney to Denver and has lost Kevin Faulk for the remainder of the season, and maybe more, with a torn ACL.
So, with many issues at the running back position, could New England draft a stud back?

The draft is a long way away, and this is only speculation, so anything can happen. With New England's draft history, there's also a good chance they'll trade their first-rounders because Bill Belichick and the Pats draft for "value."
Ingram would be a perfect fit in New England.
Following Ian Penny resignation, the NFL does not have a strong leader. It was widely speculated that former Major League Baseball Players Association Executive Director Donald Fehr would be appointed to this position in Aug 2010. However, a day after the speculation reached a climax on August 26th,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], both NFL Interim Director Mike Ouellet and Deputy Commissioner and chief legal officer of the NFL Bill Daly have disputed the claims that it is all hearsay, and nothing is concrete between the NFL and Donalf Fehr. Brian A. Westerholt The National football League Players Association or NFL is the labor union for the group of professional football players who are under Standard Player Contracts to the thirty member clubs in the National football League located in the United States and Canada. The Association represents its membership in all matters dealing with their working conditions and contractual rights as well as serving as their exclusive collective bargaining agent.
As everyone already knows, the New England Patriots are a below-average running team.

With New England's two first-rounders, could they possibly draft Alabama running back Mark Ingram,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who will very likely leave college early?

They could. They have the draft picks to do it.

Adding a stud back to this team's offense would be a wise move.
New England not only has its first-round pick, but also Oakland's first-rounder. As we all know, Oakland is not a very good team and shows no signs of improving. The more Oakland goes downhill, the greater New England's pick grows.

The strong point of the Patriots offense is Brady,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and he is getting older by the year. Yes, Brady is in the prime of his career, but he soon will be leaving his prime years.

You can also follow Tony via Twitter @ TSantorsa10 Following mini camps in the spring and officially recognized training camp in between July and August,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], NFL teams typically play four exhibition games from early August through early September. Each team hosts two games of the four. The exhibition season begins with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, so those two teams play five exhibition games each. Historically, the American Bowls were played prior to the NFL scheduling regular season games abroad and those teams faced this similar predicament.

However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], like I said before,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], adding a stud running back to this team would help the aging Brady along with the team's offense.

They hardly run the ball, and when they do, it's average if anything. But with quarterback Tom Brady, can you blame them?
