The sport wall is just one way Williams incorporates technology with exercise.
He also uses flat screen televisions and some video games, like Dance Dance Revolution, to get the kids active.
Williams also says sometimes you just have to bring back the basics from before technology, like relay races and tag,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],
"You try to make every exercise or whatever your target is for that day, whether it be strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, etc., etc. You try to make that as fun as possible,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you try to make that a game," says Williams.
And it must be fun because the kids at school are talking about it.
“My friends told me at school how fun it was and all the things they did and I went home and told my mom and she said I could try,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," explains participant Mary Hylton.
"A child that was here tonight heard from a friend and last week, I had a couple new kids come in that they had heard from a couple kids at school too. Seems to bring them in,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], at least for awhile," agrees Williams.
He says helping children develop good habits now, will help them in the long run.
