In a mixing bowl cream the butter and cream cheese.Gradually mix in the confectioners sugar then the vanilla or almond flavoring.Tint with red food coloring and then frost cookies.
There may have some frosting left over. Just put it in the refrigerator and frost between two layer cakes or you can freeze this frosting and use the rest later. These cookies will need to be stored in a cool area because of the cream cheese frosting but they probably won't last very long. Decorate them with mini chocolate chips, M & M's, or candy valentine hearts or cinnamon hearts if desired.
The best thing about these Valentines Day treats is that these cookies can be a treat any time of the year. Just change the color of the frosting and shape of the cookie and make them for any other holiday of the year. They will be appreciated any time.
Cream Cheese Cut Out Cookies
In a mixing bowl combine the butter, cream cheese and the sugar. Mix until creamy.Add the egg Air Max Lebron, vanilla and almond flavoring and blend well.In another bowl combine the flower and baking powder.Add to the ingredients in the mixer bowl gradually until all is incorporated.Remove dough from bowl and place it in plastic wrap sealing tightly. Refrigerate for 1-1/2 hours or overnight.Take out half the dough and roll it out on a floured board about ½ to ¼ inch thick and cut with the heart shaped cookie cutter.Place on baking sheets that have been sprayed with a non stick spray.Make sure they are placed 2 inches apart.Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes or until they are slightly brown.Leave on the sheets for about 5 to 10 minutes then remove to a wire rack to cool.

Once the cookies have cooled frost them with delicious cream cheese icing. Color it with red food coloring making it red or pink or a combination of both.
