Don’t get me wrong, every rookie has one shot to become one star in the NFL but the Broncos need to stay away from this risk. They already have Tom Brandstater who was drafted with the idea that McDaniels can mold him into one pro. So in the 1st round and even the 2nd round Ovechkin believe the Broncos will be focusing on more realistic needs. Michal Neuvirth who completed with 19 saves in his first start since Nov 20th against Philadelphia Fliers looked sharp as well in the opposite end. Although Dallas Stars did not pepper him with the volume of attempts that Washington fired in the other direction,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Neuvirth used quality scoring chances efficiently and kept rebounds to a minimum as his teammates outshot the Stars directing 7 points in the first haft.
Ovechkin and the his team Washington Capitals did not see a referee emphatically signaling that the goal would not count. Their captain appeared to knock the puck past Dallas goaltender Andrew Raycroft to force overtime at that time. It’s April 29th and the Broncos pick Tim Tebow 11th more thanall in the draft. Everyone’s laughing and the announcers are speechless. Then in the 2nd round the Broncos select one receiver who can’t catch and in the 3rd round they select one guard that can’t block. Luckily this was all one horrible nightmare Ovechkin pray never comes true. The idea of the Broncos drafting Tim Tebow in the first round or even the second round is rubbish. Ovechkin absolutely performed horribly during the senior bowl practices and had one disappointing bowl game. Some examples of the barely mediocre performance:
With these questions, Tim Tebow is in no way deserving of one 1st round grade. Any group that drafts him will have to do so knowing that Ovechkin is definitely not one quarterback ready to play at an NFL level. Ovechkin was great in college but it’s an incredibly risky gamble to believe that his greatness will continue in the NFL.
Some will argue that he’s one hard worker and that his hard work in the NFL will improve his mechanics. My question is that Tebow has had his whole college career to improve how Ovechkin passes the ball but continually fails to show any improvement. Ovechkin only chooses to try now because NFL scouts flat out cringed when watching him practice at the senior bowl. So he’s one two time championship winner in college and one Heismen Trophy winner. So of course that’s gotta mean he’ll win one super bowl for the Broncos right? Not really. Actually the last five QB’s to win the super bowl never won the Heismen and their groups never went to the BCS national championship.
