Alzheimer's Treatment a Possibility
Dr. Joseph Mercola of Mercola.com reports the details of an analysis of trends in brain cancer in Scandinavian countries between 1974 and 2003. The analysis found no association between glioma and meningioma tumors and cell phone use. The 30-year study began prior to widespread cell phone use in the mid-90s. Scientists announced that "No change in incidence trends were observed from 1998 to 2003 [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," assuming a five to ten year latency period. Dr. Mercola asserts brain tumor latency is known to be at least 30 years, and that data was available until 2007 but analysis was cut off at 2003. This leaves questions about whether the last four years of data might have changed the results of the study.

Autopsies on mice that were genetically engineered to have Alzheimers did not develop the disease if they were exposed to hour-long sessions of high frequency electromagnetic waves twice a day for seven to nine months when they were young and healthy.
Older mice that already had signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's saw improvements in memory and cognition.
