| 从前，和尚与屠夫有这样一则故事。讲的是那个和尚和那个屠夫是好朋友，并且住在一起，和尚天天早上起来要念经，而屠夫天天早上起来要杀猪。为了不耽误对方的工作和影响双方的休息，他们决定每天早上互相叫对方起床。多年后，和尚和屠夫都去世了，结果是和尚下了地狱，而屠夫上了天堂。因为屠夫是天天做善事的，每天叫和尚起来念经；而和尚呢？则是天天做恶事，每天就叫屠夫起来杀生。
